Here is the Doctor's education, training and credentials:

1986 Bachelor of Arts from Boston University, Psychology Major, Magna Cum Laude


1994 Doctor of Psychology Degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University, Ft.Lauderdale, Fl.

1992-1993:  2000 hours of Clinical Psychology internship at The Bradley Center/St. Francis Hospital (psychiatric hospital) in Columbus, Georgia, working with children and adults in both the in-patient and out-patient departments.  

Dr. Seropian is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of North Carolina (NC# 2135) and has been since 1994. 

Dr. Seropian has more than twenty-five years of full-time, post-doctoral expertise.  She has worked in private psychiatric hospitals, psychiatric units in medical-surgical hospitals, public mental health centers, residential youth facilities, and group practice.  She has had her individual private practice since 2002.  Dr. Seropian has worked successfully with children, adolescents, and adults from nearly all walks of life and with many different problems and client goals. 


The Doctor is a long-time, current member of the Mecklenburg Psychological Association and a former long-time member of the North Carolina Psychological Association, the North Carolina Psychoanalytic Society, and the American Academy of Psychotherapists.  

The Doctor has completed 360 hours of training in Gestalt Therapy practices at the Appalachian Gestalt Training Institute (AGTI) in Asheville/Black Mountain, North Carolina (2016-2020). 

The Doctor is a certified member of PSYPACT, a Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact of Licensed Psychologists, who are credentialed to provide psychological services by Telehealth to clients across state lines.  If you live outside of North Carolina and wish to receive services by Telehealth, please visit the PsyPACT web-site to check your state's participation by going here:  psypactmap
